I'm planning to overclock the 8320 to 4.0ghz (same as 8350) on the 970 extreme4 with a H60 cooling. Will this be a problem?
I know what you guys going to say, "that board only has 4+1 VRM phase, it's terrible!)
Because I've read quite a few saying that the 4+1 phase is not nearly enough to overclock the 6 or 8 core FX series
The reason I didn't get a 990FX is because I bought the 970 extreme4 for only $50 while the 990FX extreme4 will be around $140 plus I'm not planning crossfire my 7870 so a 990FX seems a little overkill for me
Note: I went with the extreme4 instead of the 3 is because of the USB 3 header
CPU: FX-8320
Mobo: Asrock 970 Extreme4
Cooler: H60
Ram: 8gb (2gb x 4)
Case: Antec 300
PSU: 730w
GPU: Sapphire 7870
