i5 2500k
ASUS P8Z77-V LX
EVGA GeForce GTX660
Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM

Would a Corsair HX650 work as a PSU?
I am not overclocking now but I will soon once I learn how to.
If I install a after market heat sink fan, would this PSU be able to cope with it?

yup, should be fine. even a (good) 550w would work for that. but having a head room is always good.
overclocking is easy enough to learn unless you are aiming for really high clocks. corsair is a good psu brand (though they dont make their own)

im also using 2500k, now set @4ghz
