-No need for an i7 in gaming, an i5 will perform the same at a cheaper price. Also using Intel's new 4th gen processor Haswell over the 3rd gen Ivy Bridge.
-Corsair H100i closed loop water cooling will overclock much better than the Hyper 212 EVO. Haswell runs hotter so you'll want to get the best cooling system you can get.
-With the new Haswell chip, you need a socket LGA 1150 motherboard. This one has nice features and can overclock.
-8gb of ram is still plenty for gaming.
-No need for a sound card. On-board audio is good enough for standard use.
-Better case. It has good airflow and is very silent. Also allows for a dual rad, such as the h100i, whereas the phantom would have problems fitting it.
-Slightly smaller psu. A 750w is fine.

Dual GPUs tend to be more demanding than a single system. I7 makes sense for him.
H100i is OVERPRICED and overrated. Noctua NH-D14 is just as good and considerably cheaper.

We can't see the changes? Or I am blind. LOL.

Anyway as for a sound card, let me start by asking what headset and/or speakers do you use?

Sorry, check it now... copied wrong link -.-

Probably use my Turtlebeach headset

There are lots of turtlebeach headsets. Can you give us the particular model?

Also, the i7 and 16gb ram are still overkill for gaming. An i5 + 8gb of ram will not bottleneck your system at all.
I would still recommend Haswell, just because its a little more expensive for a newer generation.

Exact model of the headset? Or a link?

Nice changes. ONE more thing, I would suggest getting Low Profile Vengeance RAM as the high fins are in the way to coolers and serve no point.

At present I have the X12s I think are (5.1) surround. I may upgrade to 7.1 though. I might downgrade to the I5, I had originally had it... but so many mixed reviews... chaos lol.

An i7 is basically an i5 with hyperthreading, effectively giving it 8cores instead of the i5 4cores.
There's only like 2-3 games that actually uses more than 4 cores so the i7 is a waste of money.
Also, I haven't seen any game use over 8gb of ram unless you do some intense mods with skyrim.

I have the money, I could sacrifice the I7 and RAM for a better monitor I guess. Are you definetly sure I should downgrade it to 8GB and I5?

Nah, with that headset you won't know the difference between onboard and a sound card.
