Faulty RAM? Or otherwise?

Hello, I just piece together my first pc build. When first powering on, the LED's turn on and fans move (case and heatsink). After only a few seconds, the computer shuts off, turns back on, and repeats the whole process several times. I've made sure everything is plugged in as it should be, and cannot seem to figure out what the problem is. Processor is properly placed, RAM is seated firmly, etc.

When i remove the RAM, the computer stays on until i manually turn it off (with no video signal, which i suspect is due to lack of RAM). But with either of the RAM sticks plugged in, the computer restarts the whole on/off/on/off fiasco. Anybody else have this problem? Not sure where to go from here. Any advice is appreciated.

System Specs:

Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core
ASRock DDR3 1333 Intel - LGA 1155 Motherboards (B75M-ITX)
Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS
WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive

Had you stated that in your first post, I would've told you to RMA the motherboard - your efforts are futile with bent pins from the get-go

Make sure the RAM is all the way in there.... press firmly until it locks itself.

That's also what i thought. When i first got the motherboard it had a bent pin in the CPU socket. I managed to straighten the pin out and thought that to be the end of that problem. I just checked again, and every pin is still perfectly straight. Could this have lead to another problem? though, it still stays on when RAM is removed (without video signal)

Can generally straighten then if only bent, using two razor blades, line them up in the aisles on either side of the beant pins and gently squeeze together, then do same in the aisles at right angle to the previous ones and again gently squeeze them together, then check check, may have to do one more time, but generally always works .. If any pins are broken it's an RMA for sure.
