Newegg reviews shows the liquid cooler cooling a 8150 and x6 1100t just fine with a oc to about 4.5ghz and reviews for the 9900aled very similar. Did u look at the zalman cnps 9900max? its $75 and has a bigger fan, and my keeps my oc x6 cool under 100% load at like 45c.
I like the Xigmatek Dark Knight II, teksyndicate did a video with it and its comes very close to the H100 and its an air cooler thats $50
At the $90 range get a 240mm or 280mm cooler as the only decently priced 120mm one is the corsair H60 at $65, The Antec one is good as it has a thick radiator which is better
You say you have the zalman cnps 9900max, would you say it quieter the the stock? That is my main thing. With playing any new game i own while doing multiple of different thing on my other 3 monitors, neither hardware monitor or coretemp are showing the max is 46c( i dont know if this is good or bad)
Yes the cnps 9900max or prob aled will be alot more quiet than the stock cooler, almost anything can do that lol. With my overclock i run my cooler on a silent profile and is quite quiet and zalman gives u a resistor to make the fans rpms slower without any software change. If ur not overclocking then maybe an expensive cooler like the zalman ones are not the best choice, but get wat u want lol. hefox's suggestion doesnt seem to bad and as i said look into the xigmatek dark knight II and corsair H60 the new version with the white fan
