Well it may not be the new Graphics card, it may be a compatibility issue.
First, the issue; when playing well... anything, I keep getting small frame lag issues. It'll halt for about a second, frames dropping to 0, then suddenly go back to normal.
Second; my rig;
ASUS Sabertooth Z77 (I've heard there are compatibility issues with the new 780 and this mobo)
GTX 780 Superclocked
8Gbx2 1600 Mhz RAM
1000 Watt Seasonic PSU (Yeah I know it's overkill)
i7 Ivy Bridge @ 3.4 GHz
So I know it's getting enough power, it's screwed in tightly, I tried taking it out, cleaning the PCI port and re-seating it. Is it just the BIOS? If it is, I looked at ASUS's download site and none of the descriptions mentioned anything about PCI ports or nVidia drivers.
Thoughts?

Solution

If you are using any antivirus disable it, uninstall drivers competently and reboot. Disable antivirus again install 314.22 drivers, reboot and see how it goes. If its good try 320.18 to see if it happens again.

I'm using a Spin Q with Arctic Silver 5, I don't think that's an issue, especially since my CPU is not overclocked. Just it's base speed.
And I never updated my drivers since 314.22. Should I update my drivers to 320.18?
