So recently I've purchased a new CPU and Motherboard all in one bundle. Also 8 gb of ddr3 ram to go with it. Once I received the items I put all the parts into the motherboard and then tested it. The result was a blank screen while inside the computer the fans are all running(This shows that the motherboard is getting power) I then tried changing the sticks of ram to having only one of each in the motherboard in case if its a ram issue which it seems not to be as it was the same result of having nothing on screen. I have also tried removing my graphics card and using the on board video and installing a higher wattage psu and taking out the CMOS battery to reset it and lastly unplugging the HDD and CD drive. So far none of these methods have worked and I'm going to have to try and return the items to the seller while paying more for postage, so I'm just posing here to see if any of you have any ideas on how to fix this problem before having to spend money on sending this back.
One weird thing which did happen is that the computer did boot up after messing around with it but it locked after a couple of seconds. After turning off and on it went back to the same problem which confuses me even more. Also while booting without the heatsink for only a couple of seconds I have noticed the cpu does get warm which is a sign of it processing something (If I'm correct in saying that)
Just one last thing to point out is that my motherboard does not have a built in speaker so no beep reports from it.
