I'm still experimenting with it, but I would like other opinions on this.

My system is in my signature. I'm running windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

Would my system benefit from enabling HPET with a SLI system for gaming in windows 7?

I'm trying to figure out why my cpu/gpu usage is soo low in demanding games. I know my system can push the frames, but its just not doing it.

I'm pretty much convinced its the games poor optimization and not my system, but I'd like to know if anyone else has other ideas as to a solution.

sorry, it's in my signature.

i5 3570k at 4.5
gtx 680 sli at 1200/6600
asrock z77 extreme 4 (latest bios)
corsair vengeance LP at 1600
1440p sIPS 27inch monitor

Also I'd like to make a note:

When running CPUID hardware monitor I occasionally see CPUTIN and AUXTIN reach absurd temperatures (127 degrees C). I'm assuming it's a bug with the program because all of my other temperatures are perfectly fine.

i think as ur gpu's are in SLI and as u are using asingle monitor, perhaps it might not be needing it as ur gpu's can also perform good with dual monitors at high resolution, simply the games u are playing might not be needing such higher Vram.what games do u play?try to downclock ur cpu a bit to 4hz and see that if ur gpu uses more memory
