Hope that link works. I've been researching these forums for a couple months now. This is what I decided on for my gaming computer.

If someone can point out a cheaper but just as good power supply that would be great. There are so many I can't decide. I do plan to overclock in the future. Also the gpu is already on it's way, I ordered before it sold out again. I know that a 4gb gpu is overkill for most if not all games out right now. But I decided on a gtx770 and there were no 3gb versions. I worried that in a year maybe I'd need more than 2gb for new games. So that's where that decision came from :)

I'd recommend the Crucial M4 SSD. It's more reliable and a bit cheaper as well. Actually the Intel SSDs are better but for the price I'd put Crucial number 2. I'm running several of them and one of them is over 2 years old without a hitch yet. As for the case I'm a sucker for the Antec eleven hundred. At $100 for a full chasis and it has great cable routing. The Antec's also have great build quality so you don't need a hammer to get the side panels off and on. Also check out the antec HCG-750 for $99.99. It's 750W and Antec's are rock solid with a 5 year warranty to boot. I have yet to see one go after 20 years and having sold hundreds of them.

I'm a little sketchy on gigabyte boards. I've had reliability issues with them. I stick to Asus now that Abit no longer exist. I havn't had a problem with their video cards yet.

I also noticed you choose windows 7 over windows 8. Any reasons? I have personally found windows 8 to be more solid and reliable compared to windows 7. Faster with fewer problems.

Well windows 8 is a completely different layout but I know they are trying to fix it. I heard windows 7 is the best to game on also. As for the gigabyte mb, it is one of the most recommended on these forums along with Asus. I have a gigabyte mb right now with no problems so I just decided to stay with the brand I suppose.

Gigabyte is definitely one of the top boards. You could do a lot worse. But dollar for dollar all boards are priced pretty much the same so I just stick with Asus. You can't knock their reliability and performance. If other brands were significantly cheaper I'd consider them but otherwise I just stick to Asus. I do however have some gigabyte video cards that have been so far so good.

I havn't had a single issue as of yet gaming on windows 8.
