So i've been having a issue with what i think may have to do with my Video card. I have had no problem with it for the last year up unitl recently where i installed a variety of different games for pc. The issue first started a couple weeks ago when i installed a cracked copy of dead island riptide. my monitor would freeze up before the menu screen would come up. But for some reason it would work on occasion(the game) now it has become an issue where even when im streaming videos, the screen will crash and say the video card has recovered from an error, sometimes it will just shutoff without recovery

I have looked up similar issues of this problem on other forums and others have suggested re installing the display drivers, which i have done and it has made little difference. also it has been said that the video card may be overheating. I have 3 system fans (including the one on the graphics card) and was wondering if someone could maybe tell me if my lack of cooling fans may be the issue? my core temp has been at about 65- 75 degrees Celsius lately and i have been noticing a faint smell of something around my pc. currently i have my rotating fan directed at my pc. My question is whether this is the probable cause for the issue as i have not had it in the past. i just dont want to go and buy cooling fans and then realize it did not fix my problem.

Pc was built last year. Anyone who can help i would be very grateful for a second opinion.

Cheers,
Jordan

You want to download driver fusion and install it.

uninstall driver and all software with it but dont restart when prompted.
run driver fusion and remove amd drivers then restart when prompted.
