I am looking to upgrade my Acer AX 1700 computer with a new graphics card and power supply. It is a slim profile model. That's about all I know. I want to be able to play games, esp. Iracing and use a three monitor setup.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

It is only 220w .... but I can not find a replacement that is that small. Here is the part number on the power supply LiteOn PS-5221-06. I guess it is very small to fit inside the slim profile case.

It seems to be a proprietary PSU from Acer so I really doubt you will find any power supply that will fit in the case unless you buy directly from Acer. However, I really doubt they will have a higher wattage version.

At best I think I can only recommend a Radeon HD 6450. While it is more powerful than the integrated nVidia G100 graphics core, it is a weak graphics card. The HD 6450 is more of a multimedia card than a card which can be used to play games.

You can click the following review for some benchmarks. The games are tested with a using the highest graphics quality so lower them will obviously increase performance. However, the test rig uses an Intel Core i7 920 @ 3.8 GHz which is much more powerful than your CPU; therefore, performance will be lower.

LiteOn is a pretty good brand, here is what you can try. A 7750 at full power in a benchmark in a gaming system drew about 200 watts total. This is for a system with a CPU and other components more power hungry than yours. You can get a low profile 7750, see if it will work, it may. I'd say 60% chance. I think the card itself will draw 55 watts at full power.
If it does not work, keep the card and get a larger case and power supply, move your stuff over to that case, or just buy a used computer for $150 with everything ready to go, and install your new vide card. A Dell XPS or Lenovo ThinkCenter tower will have plenty of size and power to run tha card.
