Hello I recently just finished building my pc and my motherboard ( ASUS F2A55-M LE) is not posting, I am using the A10 5800k as my cpu/gpu. When I went to hook up my hdmi to the back of the motherboard and turned it on I had no post but my fans were spinning and I do have power to the motherboard. Then I thought maybe it was a bad hdmi so I plugged in my mobo speaker and still didn't hear a beep when I turned it on again. I then realised my rear USB is not working and nor is my front panel USB. I could really use some help as this is the last step before installing windows :(.

Do you have both power cables hooked up to the mobo? i know that is something i missed on my very first build. there should be a 20 or 24 pin connecter for the main board and then a 4 to 8 pin connecter for the cpu power

There is a 4 pin atx 12v plug on the board but Im using the detachtable 4 pin on 24 pin connector...do you think it could be something this simple and if it is do you think my power supply woul have the extra connection (rosewill hive 750w 80+ bronze semi modular) also needless to say with my psu I had other parts in mind but was able to get the A10 and mobo for free.

-_- I looked at my power supply and didn't see it had a detachable 4-pin connector. Thank you so much btw.
