If you want a gaming monitor then it can't be beat for the price. However, if you do photo work and gaming is only 50% then I'd suggest an IPS panel. I use my Asus VE247T for gaming and an IPS one for editing photos.
The speakers will suck so plan on using DVI cable and get some small speakers.
