Confused about what graphics card I have

On the site I bought my computer from it says that I have an AMD HD 8760 graphics card. But I've installed the catalyst drivers, and they updated the drivers to AMD HD 7700 series.

The dxdiag used to say 8760, now it says 7700. Which card do I have? The 8760 or the 7700? Are they the same? Have I downgraded my graphics in some way or another?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

It'll say "7700 series" not 7700.

This is most likely because the 8700 series hasn't been fully implemented into Catalyst yet.

Besides, I think the 8700 series is just a re-numbered 7700 series, so this makes sense.

EDIT: Yeah, the 8760 is a re-badged 7770, so it'll most likely report to Catalyst as a 7770 (AKA "7700 series" in Catalyst) until the 8xxx series and it's drivers have been released.

My 7750 comes as "7700 series" in Catalyst as well. I don't know why it doesn't specify the exact card. Odd really.
