Hi,

After upgrading my PC I have lots of problems with RAM. By problems I mean that something eats it and I can't find what...

The only thought I have - its HD4000. But I can't find how to disable it in BIOS :(

Working set - http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2lcofir&s=5
Private set - http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2vd5mbp&s=5

Thanks for help in advance.

System specs:
- CPU - Intel i7 3770K
- GPU - Gigabyte HD 7970 (overclocked by manufacturer)
- Motherboard MSI Z77A-G45 Gaming
- Memory - Patriot PC3-12800 4GB (2x2) CL7 x2 ()8GB in total
- System SSD - OCZ Vertex 3 128GB (4-8 GB for swap-file)

You can't disable an integrated graphics solution, but it shouldn't be taking up RAM if you have a dedicated card like you do.

Download Process Explorer (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx) and use it to see what processes truly are eating up your RAM. Google each process if you don't know what it is. If it's something you can live without, uninstall that program or disable the associated services. Steer clear of disabling Microsoft services, though.

I've looked there and no application was consuming so much memory. Top consumer was chrome page with 175 MB.
Also I have attached two screenshots from resource monitor.

I have only HD7970 listed in Device Manager

Your listed memory configuration is intriguing. Do you have 4 sticks of Ram or 3? Generally combining 2x2 and 1x4 is frowned upon, and you have to put them in particular slot config for this to work at all.

Launch Resource Monitor, and go to the memory tab.

Sometimes you end up with a huge chunk becoming hardware reserved.

A common symptom of an unsupported memory config is addtional memory being set to hardware reserved.

I have two identical kits 2x2GB each. I total it will be 4x2GB = 8GB.
As you can see from screenshots - there are only 56MB reserved by system
