Brand new GTX 780 with texture problems in BF3

Hi All,

I recently purchased a brand new GTX 780. Today I started having an issue where the textures in some of the Battlefield 3 maps start to screw up (certain objects look like a rainbow of colours and flickering black lines over the screen).

This started happening a few hours after updating to driver version 320.18. I've tried uninstalling those drivers and resorting back to the drivers that came with the card (version 320.11), however this has not fixed the problem. As this is a new card, I've not overclocked it or altered it in any way - It's pretty much running stock out of the box.

Does anyone out there have some advice on other troubleshooting scenarios I could go through? Or should I perhaps return the card to the store?

Thanks in advance,

This is a problem that occurs to alot of people with the gtx 780 and battlefield 3. there are plenty of yt videos and threads about it around the internet, and if iam correct, there's no fix for it yet.
you will just have to wait for a new driver\ game update.

probably wont take that long.

Try going into safe mode and reinstalling the original drivers, if that doesn't help, make sure your power connections are good! If that doesn't help, Rma it, and try and see if it is the card, if it turns out its not the card report back to me. You can try to run memtest to see if the ram is acting up, as that is a common problem!

Yes, I did find a few links from googling of people experiencing the same thing. They have said that reinstalling seemed to work for them. Anyway, thanks for your help and thanks to everyone else that replied to this thread.
