I have a i5 2400s, its clocked at 2.5 and should boost up to 3.3 depending of the number of cores working....
Turbo is not working at all, with the bios options set to default (turbo on) run prime at only one or 4 cores, no change, it stills 26x99=25??mhz
Default setting in bios, enabled OC genie, only change is that the cpu does not idle at 1.6 anymore, it stays at 2.5 with no load, 1 core or 4 cores loaded...
Changed the cpu ratio on the bios to 33x, reboot into the bios and it is showing as if it was clocked at 3.3, boot into windows and have no change, 2.5 ghz
Tried the control center utility and enabled changing clock on OS, no change...
Im not going for anything extreme, my goal is to make 3.3ghz the stock clock or at least modify the turbo...
What am I doing wrong?
Running a b75 msi mobo, thanks
