Minecraft Pros please help!

I recently bought minecraft everything works great, but whenever i try to connect online it says "connection timed out:connect" i've tried all sorts of servers that are 1.5.2 ( my minecraft's version) i've allowed it through my firewall, and i have even gone to the trouble of portforwarding even though that's only required to set one up..... HOWWWWWW DO I CONNEECCCCT i used to play cracked, could that effect it? please someone help

Ensure that the crack isn't still present in the files. A cracked version won't be able to play online, hence, if the crack is still present, you won't be able to go online, despite having purchased it.

This is the most likely reason, as you've already tried everything else.

In future, don't pirate software - it's no different than theft. Buy it.

double check the port the servers are useing, by default its 25565. but you can change it when you make a server. then compare it to your firewall settings. both for your OS and router.

if its is anything other than default you have to enter the service IP in the connection screen like this- 192.168.1.10:25565

I've deleted my mc.exe and .minecraft a couple of times and re downloaded it from the mc website but it still won't work?
