Best bang for the buck if not overclocking?

Not sure if i plan to oc or not if i decide not to oc what the best bang for my buck cpu wise?

That would be most certain an I5 K series. But provided your budget, we can give more information. An I5 is a best performance/price ratio CPU but depending on your usage things change dramatically.

max of 990 and its 90% for long time gameing like hours a day and other then that basic stuff like internet and netflix youtube facebook stuff. Arent k series only good for overclockers?

You kinda need to decide if you want to overclock before you buy your CPU / MB. For overclocking, you'll need a "k"series chip and a Z77 MB

i dont think i will, it dosent seem to affect gameing performence at all 5-10 fps from what i can tell comparing different benchmarks and youtube vids of people using similar cpus and similar gpus i realy dont think 5-10 fps more is worth the potential damage that can be dont to your cpu and the added money you pay to be able to oc
