Hey guys!!:bounce:  this is my very first thread on TomsHardware xD i just signed up since i always get useful info from these forums :p .... anyway!

I wanna buy the Gigabyte HD 7770 1gb OC edition with a Corsair CX 500 V2 and i wanna know what most of my settings will look like @ 1366x768

my specs are:

Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93Ghz Oc'd to 3.75Ghz (stock cooler)
6Gb RAM 1333mhz
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
2x 500GB Seagate HDD's (not so important)

and will the HD 7770 be a big step up from my HD 5450?

Please dont tell me to buy a different GPU or CPU or monitor:no: ... i love gaming at my resolution and i will buy more RAM and a better CPU at a later stage for now its only the GPU and PSU

Thanx:D

Yes you might be able to play battlefield on the lowest settings, if you can try to get a radeon 6850, or if you have the cash a 7850 1gb, this will bring your performance up dramastically, So try to get a 6850, or a 7850, report back!

What? At that resolution, you can just about max out Battlefield with an OC 7770. It'll probably run at around 30-40 fps, but it would still be very playable.

Come on now, I would say high settings, and get 50?

Some of those games are well known CPU hogs so upping that (as planned) will help further.
Yes, the 7770 will be a huge improvement over the 5450 currently installed but even at 720 res it'll struggle if you expect too much from it.
Keep a VERY close eye on the CPU temps! As I recall 60C is the safe max for the C2D chips.

Yeah i wont expect too much from it because it is only a Mid-ranged card and my CPU doesnt go over 50C when i'm gaming so im safe :p  haha i have really been looking forward to getting this card after seeing some of the benchmarks and reviews... i know its not the best card but i'm happy with it :)  planning on getting an i5 3570k in the next few months so i wont be sitting with this C2D for that long :pt1cable:
