i5 3470 vs fx 6300

Should I take the fx 6300 and save some money for a better GPU or just get the i5 3470 ?

I will do gaming and multitasking

What kind of games do you plan to play? And at what resolution? There are a lot of factors to consider

A full system list would be nice as well to give us a general idea of what you have planned out.
