1) In how many months should I clean my computer. I built my computer in around May. When should i start shooting compressed air into it.

2) If I do clean it, do I need to take out my gpu and heat sink

Intel Core i5-3570K, Asus P8Z77-V PRO
Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB
WD Blue 1TB
EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti SSC 1024MB

Depends.

If you're the kind who places your computer on the carpet, you'll probably need to

tend to it more frequently. Otherwise I think it's just a case of doing it every few months

or so. Like every 5month if you're diligent or whatnot. Sometimes things will run hotter/louder too, so that can also be

a cue. I wouldn't say you need to take much out, but if you're cleaning the case, things might get in the way (like big air coolers)

and thus it's handy to remove them. My policy is that when I'm cleaning, I'm going to do it right. So I do take lots of

things out to do so.

Depends on the environment and how obsessive compulsive you are. You need to clean it once dust starts inhibiting cooling efficiency. Some people cant stand the sight of dust and clean their machines once a month.

At the end of the day, you need to clean it as often as it needs it.

I usually do every month or so; taking the GPU out and blowing that out, then the fans/ screens...etc

Make sure you have more/larger intake fans than exhaust fans. This way you will have a positive pressure in your computer case that will give you better cooling and less dust. If your case has filters on the input fans too, you are set!
