Losing Connection to Router

I've had an ongoing annoyance that I've been dealing with. I frequently am losing my connection with my router in the next room, an old Apple Airport Extreme. I have a couple Apple devices and a bunch of non-Apple products that are connecting to it also. All devices lose their connection at the same times. I have noticed that my signal strength is either 5 bars or none. I have played around with the channel settings. Channel 11 seems to work the best, which is to say, horribly.

I went through 3 or 4 routers before giving up about a year ago and just using the Airport Extreme, which seemed to work the best. I am planning on replacing the router one last time. It seems like the problem could be interference, but it also seems like resetting the router helps a lot more than it should if it was interference. If it is interference, why is it that I can go an hour without connecting after I've lost my signal, but if I reset the router, I'll have 5 minutes of internet again before losing connection with the router once again?

Anyway, I mostly want a recommendation for a router with a great signal. If that doesn't fix the problem, I'll try getting a dish adapter for my PC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833164050 and if that doesn't work I will stop throwing money at the problem and give up. Thanks.
