Im currently looking at the Corsair M65 and the Func MS-3.

I really like the looks of the RAT mouses/mice but ive heard a lot of negatives with the whole z-axis thing.

I play FPS mostly and im looking for a mouse with the on the fly dpi/sniper button.

Also could you suggest a good mouse pad

i've heard good things about the corsair mice.

never heard of func.

most gaming mice have an option to map a dpi button.

do yourself a favor and dont fall for the "i need a hard gaming mat" line. a cloth foam rubber mousepad in solid black works just fine. you can find them in large sizes as well. if you wanted to get fancy the larger foamrubber pads by razer work but are overpriced for what they are. solid mousepads will cause mouse teflon feet wear and tear so i would avoid them.

personally i use an old razer deathadder and it works great for fps. i'd avoid the new style though.
