Hey, I'm having a static problem on my speakers when my line-in jack is enabled for the PC to listen to. I connected my PS3 to my PC monitor, and used the audio cable Sony provided to connect to my PC's line-in jack using a little 3.5mm to RCA splitter. I enabled "listen to this device" on the Sound properties in the control panel. The problem is that every time my PS3 is connected, I get weird static on my speakers on the PC, but only in some places, like a Netflix menu (how's that even possible?) and some games during certain audio tracks. I'm running Windows 8 and I tried updating the audio driver from my motherboard manufacturer's site, but it was a no go. Any ideas where the static's coming from? Thanks!

The cable seems pretty high quality, since it's Sony branded, but I have tried connecting headphones, and the static is much more noticeable on them.
