I'm new with motherboards and what they do.

Does the Extreme6 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z87extreme6) have built in wifi?

Does it also have integrated sound, meaning I won't need speakers or anything else to hear things with?

Using the computer for FPS gaming.

Unfortunately it doesn't have built in Wifi meaning you're going to need a PCI-E or PCI Wifi card to be able to work wirelessly with a good speed. I recommend this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833389005
Yes it does have integrated sound which is the Realtek ALC1150, and it's quite a new sound chip too so should give you a smooth sound quality. But you will need speakers or headphones to hear things if thats what you mean.

It should be good for FPS's especially with a brand new Sound Chip.

Z87 Extreme6 doesn't have built-in Wifi. Z87 Extreme6/ac does. Both variants have integrated sound controller. You'll still need speakers or a headphone to hear things beside the PC's start-up "beep" sound.

If you're into multiplayer gaming then check out the MSI Z77A-G45/Z77A-GD65 gaming. Both of them have Killer LAN controller, which is proven to stable and reduce your ping during online gaming.
