Hello,

This is my first time building my own gaming computer, i have a $1500 budget so i chose my pieces, i'd like to get a great system but most importantly one i can upgrade later on. I was wondering if anyone can help me with this list of components.

I'd like to know if these components are compatible and if i am missing anything that i should get. Thank you in advance.

Alot of the parts you used are overkill. For example I'd change the i7 for an i5 as the only difference is a slightly larger cache and hyper threading - both of which will have little effect on gaming. I'd also switch the ram to 8gb, give you a better ssd (840 pro), give you a modular PSU, and put all this in a smaller case. Lastly I'd take the saved $$ and put it toward a GTX 770.

Tell me what you think! ( i left out the assecories and os)

The reason I swapped your mobo is because Newegg is having a combo deal with the i5 and that board and so you'll save $80 if you buy that board - and it's better than the Asus

Thank you very much, this looks much better, i'm buying from Amazon so i cannot make use of the $80 saving (i'm an international buyer + i got some amazon gift cards i want to use and also make use of prime). Will i have enough room in a mid-tower case for later expansion such as duo video cards?

Btw what are your thoughts on this case.

Yes you will have plenty of room for expansion in that case. Corsair is also an excellent brand and I would definitely recommend the 600t based on previous experience with the brand and good ratings for the case. The NZXT is also a highly regarded case, and has won numerous awards and for its value. The choice is yours, however, because at the end of the day, when you have two cases of such high quality, it really comes down to personal preference...

I really appreciate your help, this was a great first time experience, it has not ended yet, my items have just shipped but until now i'm really happy. Thanks again for the help, i've learned alot. I went for the Corsair case, i like it's style and the brand seems to have better reviews.
