cd rom and floppy disc drive

can anyone give me directions on these (do i even need floppy drive, ive read you do) id preferbly want a reader/ burner cd drive, i really dont care for the blueray as thats probably the most useless waste of money. im using a GT1 case

Floppy drives you just wont need, physical media in general is starting to become redundant so an older form of it definitely isnt needed.
Disc's are still somewhat useful, but are being phased out of use. Unless you are going to be burning or reading a lot of discs on a constant basis, buy whatever optical drive has "DVD/RW" in its product name and is from a brand like ASUS, Liteon or Samsung.
