Hey, I built my computer about 2 weeks ago but a few days ago ive had Blue screens while playing a game or just browsing the web. Chrome constantly crashes, Steam constantly crashes to the point of needing to re-install both programs. Same with extensions. These are the blue screen errors:
PFN_LIST_CORRUPT 0x0000004e (Caused by driver ntoskrnl.exe)

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 0x0000001e (Caused by driver hal.dll)

MEMORY_MANAGMENT 0x0000001a
Crash address: ntoskrnl.exe+

Ive swapped my RAM to 2 different slots but my computer did not like that and started to go into a reboot cycle until I swapped it back.

Main PC specs
Motherboard: Gigabyte-H77-D3H-MVP
CPU: I core 5 3570
RAM: 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9) (1.5v)
PSU: Antec 620M
GPU: Radeon 7950
Please I need help. Starting to regret building

Everything was set under default. 1.5v not sure what the answers are the the dram timing. I ran the test overnight it it had over 900,000 errors. If I kept it running it would of gone well over 1mil. Set under Auto, where can I view my Dram timings? I am using a Gigabyte motherboard.

hmm, i did ran individual sticks yesterday but only for a short time and one only presented with immediate errors. i ran the second one for about half and hour and it had no errors. Might be one bad stick, i purchased them as a kit so it'd be best to return both of them. I bought them online and because i am in a rural town it might take up to a month to get sorted so i think i'll purchase more sticks and pay for express. I need a running and stable computer by the end of the week because of work and study. (using my laptop atm)

IN the US, did you buy at the Egg? If so, call them and ask to talk to a supervisor, explain they sent you a bad stick in a set and you need an RMA, and would like to cross ship, that YES your willing to put up your credit card Number to ensure the return of the damaged sticks (That of Course is if you are), they may tell you that they don't do that (they do) so ask if you can talk to someone else, their supervisor. because you know they do and have....I've done it numerous times. What they normally will do is take your card number, send you the sticks and then you return what you have

Nah, Australia. I bought them from pccasegear. I ran one stick for 30mins. 1 pass no errors, I am currently running the second stick and straight away errors has appeared. So I am going to take a safe assumption and say 1 stick is faulty. I really hope it's just the RAM that's making my system play up.
