I am slowly putting together a new set-up for my DTPC.
Currently I am running with my HD5850 and its been running for what I have been playing. Every here and there I have to turn down some of the setting to achieve smooth gameplay though.
I play a wide variety of games, from SC2, Tera, DA O, WoW, CS... you get the idea.
In SC2 I have lately noticed that my card starts struggling in the main mission menu. During each mission, things are fine, unless there are a few hundred units on the screen.
I only have one screen, 1920x1080 and I usually have the AA and AF on either 0 or 2, rarely on 4. I do like having everything else on maximum settings.
Running windows 8 x64 and once I have finally decided which one to get, FX-8350 or 8320 cpu. Not sure yet.
From what I have read from many other threads, the 770 is supposedly the best thing to buy. I would rather have something in the 200-250 price category but yet performing better than the 5850.
