Hey gus,

So yeah I have finally decided to build my own PC gaming build after losing my laptop due to overheating lol.
I live in dubai, so I THINK ill have to ship everything from outside (unless I ask for the parts here and they are cheaper from outside with the shipping).
I am basically not a HARDCORE gamer, just an average gamer that plays WoW/Dota2 and willing to play some high graphics games when I get the upgrade!
Your experience will be of great help!
thanks in advance :)

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: Hopefully this summer

Budget Range: Approx 1300$

System Usage from Most to Least Important:: Mostly gaming and maybe casually surfing etc. Want it to last atleast 2 years with high graphics (dont have to be the HIGHEST)

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, but the price isnt included in the 1300$, if you gus can tell me good monitors that can I can get with the build you offer me it would be great! :D (just dont include it in the 1300 price)

Parts to Upgrade: Everything, I want a completely new system!

Do you need to buy OS: No.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:Nothing I particularly prefer since there is a great chance that i'll have to ship it

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates.. Unfortunately there arent great places to shop for parts here.

Parts Preferences:Well I dont think I prefer anything!

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Dont think so, considering my budget

Your Monitor Resolution: Well I am certainly upgrading my monitor, the monitor I have now is quiet old. (1680x1050 running with 9400 GT)

Additional Comments: Im not looking for a really good computer, just one that will satisfy my simple needs. I will be upgrading ofcourse in the future hopefully but I just want something that can do good in the next 2 years!

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: As stated, my laptop burned after I rammed it with gaming 24/7 LOL.

Thanks guys! Really appreciated!<3

Here is a list of known retailers organized by country, no doubt there are some stores in Dubai.

I'm not sure of the price difference between the US and Arab Emirates on parts, so I'l shoot for a rig that would be $1100-1200 in the US and you can see how that translates to what prices you can get. If a component isn't available, I can trawl through and see if I can find equivalent parts in whichever store you decide to go for.

So yeah I looked at the stores in UAE and the prices just look ridiculous..let me show you this as an example: the radeon 7950 is for 394.51$ which is approx 1.75 times the price! I'd rather stick with shipping until I find a proper decent non-rip off shop here! So thanks for the rapid response, just had one question. I noticed that the build costs about 1050$, is there any way you can squeeze anything will improve gaming (like a better gfx or something). Im really hoping I can get something that can last me 2 years playing high graphics with decent (not top tier) games. My last question, I hope im not asking too much, if you could make sure these parts are like not too rare or specific to find since I think im going to some shops this monday, like if these parts are "not the high demand" parts which can be hard to find!

thanks in advance!
