As ASHISH65 mentioned, the ARK site gives very complete information about Intel CPU's.
Be careful to look deeply into compatibility. Even when the series, socket, FSB, and lithography is the same, sometimes they don't work. I was caught in this way with Core2 Duo which had many series. If you have a factory system like a Dell or HP, look up the CPU's that were sold with the system when new or look up compatibility by the motherboard model number. Encouragingly, in some cases where Core2 Duo went before, a Core2 Quad may work and those have substantially more computing power. The quad core will take more power than a dual core and may require improving the CPU cooling capacity.
