Hey guys. I am going to order my new gaming PC in a few days and I want your opinion about it.

AsRock Z77 Extreme4-M Mobo
Intel Core i5 3570k @ 3.4Ghz (will be overclocked)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB 1600Mhz RAM
Sapphire HD 7970 OC Boost 3GB DDR5 GPU
WD 1TB Caviar Blue 7200RPM SATA3 HDD
Kingston V300 120GB SSD
LG Super Multi Internal 24X DVD Rewriter with M-Disc Support

You may have clearance issues with the fins on that RAM and the EVO cooler. Get low profile without those fins.

Looks good. There are newer cpu's out now, just in case you didn't know.

Also Win8 is out, wouldn't go with Win7.

I'm not interested in the new Haswell CPU's and I don't like the Win8 layout.

So your not interested in the faster and more efficient Haswell, ok.

Layout? All you do is click desktop mode and it's exactly like Win7. lol

Are you buying the OCZ for the free game? Cause if you are it already comes with the 7970. I would recommend you the

SeaSonic X Series X650-Gold Certified/Full Modular-119.99- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

XFX P1-650X-XXB9 650W- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Semi Modular-$99.99

Sure might be a few $$$ more and doesn't come with a free game, but it's ONE of the most powerful and stable components on the market.

Again are you getting 7970 cause of its free games?
I would get WD Black
No point of buying haswell, gets extremely hot and just has %5-10 increase in performance.
win8 if just want a faster boot time and made for tablets. window seven is perfectly fine.

I love my Windows 8. I don't use any of that tablet crap, I use desktop mode and it's exactly like any other Windows I've ever used.

I prefer black too, for the warranty, but the blue is a great hd too.

Yes, I'm not interested in the extremely high temperatures and that slight performance difference between the 3rd gen. Also, Windows 8 are really buggy right now and I don't want my games crashing. Go be a smartass somewhere else.
