Guys I bought a PS2 (Used) and I have a BenQ G2420HD FullHD LCD Monitor. The monitor has HDMI, D-SUB and DVI-D ports. How to connect my PS2 to the monitor?
Also since the monitor is FullHD what needs to be done to make the best use (quality)?
I have the cable : PS2 cable one side Red-White-Yellow and other side goes to console
also I have a HDMI to HDMI cable and the usual DSUB to DSUB cable but I don't think any of this will work!
I addition could you tell me how to hook the PS2 to a CRT monitor (not sure if this is even possible but just asking)

There is a VGA cable for PS2 available, but although you can find pictures of it, actually finding one to buy seems to be pretty hard http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=108483

To hook it up to a CRT, you would use the same cable. You'd actually get a better image with a CRT due to the fact that almost all CRTs will scale the image better than an LCD monitor.
