Was going for a red and black theme and the combo with the 4670k and this mobo are amazing puts the total price under even a 8450 or 3570k similar build so i thought why not get the newest cpu right?

How is everything?

Only thing im realy unsure about is the PSU i hear they need to be haswell approved cuz of its new powerstate consumption under idle? Is my PSU ok for a haswell build?

Thanks everyone!, That roswel actualy cost more then the one i have listed and is the same wattage the corsair i have is 155 off like the rosewelll you listed but the corsair one comes witha 20 dollar mail in rebate :)

Umm what would you recommend for a cpu cooler then? i realy dont plan to oc much to be honest and if i did would probly be really light basically whatever i could do without increasing voltage im scared id hurt my cpu

And if haswel runs hotter does that make it a bad decision?

Yeah but that rosewill is gold label PSU. Better efficiency.
Anyway.. Newegg do have more good priced things here:

Look ig there is something for you. G.skill memory is good. It was a good price there.
And if you think corsair is good PSU think twice before buy one.

Hi PC-GIRL88!

That's a great build! :)

If you're not planning on overclocking, the stock hsf is sufficient.

However, if you're thinking of doing light OC'ing, the EVO is more than sufficient for your needs.

Thanks, on a difrent site i posted it on someone recomended a dif build to me for a similar price using a fx 6300 but they put in a ssd and a 7950 compared to the 7870 i have in the 470k build and no ssd which do you think would perform best for gameing?

Imho, the SSD would not alter your gaming experience - FPS-wise, no changes at all. It will however, decrease your load times if you're playing games with big maps, like say Shogun. Another thing you'll notice right away is your lightning quick boot up speed.

As for the 7950 vs 7870, using the AnandTech Bench, we can see the 7950 edging the 7870 by a small margin.

For the i5 4670K vs FX 6300, the AnandTech Bench shows the i5 4670K winning by a considerably larger margin.

Imho, I would go with the build with the faster cpu.

Which Sapphire 7950 version are you keen on? They have about 4 models - the 100352-3L, FleX 100352FLEX-2, the 100352-4L with Boost, or the Vapor-X 100352VXSR?

Imho, Sapphire is a company that produces top-notch video cards.
