Hello,

I have decided on almost every part of my system, the only things left for me is to decide on it the motherboard, and a case which depends on the motherboard.

Here is my system:

Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid
Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866
Storage: Intel 520 Series Cherryville 240GB SSD
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 SC w/ ACX Cooler x 2
Sound Card: Asus Xonar DX
Power Supply: Corsair 860W ATX12V / EPS12V
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B3ST/BLK/G/AS DVD/CD Writer
OS: Microsoft Windows 8 Professional

The computer is going to be used as a media hub, overclocking, be accessed through an IPad, and primarily for gaming. The issue I am having is the decision on which motherboard to choose, money is not a concern in the choices but I do want to stick with one of these motherboards.

The choices:
Top 2: P8Z77-V DELUXE, MAXIMUS V FORMULA
P8Z77-V PRO
EVGA Z77 FTW
MAXIMUS V FORMULA/THUNDERFX

Any help in choosing a board would be appreciated. Also accepting recommendations on a case.

Thanks,

Charles

I have read a lot of reviews on the new Haswell Architecture, that it tends to not perform as well as Ivy Bridge, at least when it comes to thermals (under high load) and overclocking. Why do you recommend it?

Care to elaborate? It is true that Haswell runs hotter than Ivy and doesn't overclock as well but it is currently cheaper and the performance of Haswell is equal to or greater than Ivy. Also, the new motherboards are what makes Haswell shine.
