Hi,

I have two different memory sticks -

G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
CMX4GX3M2A1600C9

Both are showing as 2GB on a ASrock Z77 extreme 6 mobo (and for test purposes on a Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H). The likelyhood of failure of all four sticks seems unlikely - any ideas?

I've followed the manuals for different memory slots and each individual stick is showing as 2GB (I'll double check that to be 100% sure).

Thanks!

On the GSkill sticks, that model # is for a 2 stick set of sticks of 2GB ea the 'D' after the CL9 in the middle indicates dual and the 4GB indicates the size of the set - so that is 1 of a 2 stick set .

The same is true with the Corsair set, each stick is 2GB - 4GB indicates the total size of the set
