OK, so, I saw that the asrock x79 extreme11 supports 8 DIMM slots with a total of 64 gb. Thing is, will it support 64gb (EIGHT DIMM modules) of corsair vengeance pro 2400 MHZ RAM? (not sure if it can support 2400mhz)

The 3960X and the 3970X might be able to do 2133 maybe 2400 with this mobo, the 3930X can prob do 64GB 1866 - maybe 2133 and the straight 3930 maybe 64GB of 1600...The Asus Rampage IV Extreme is about the only one I've that can reliably run 2400 in a 64GB config, and then need a strong CPU/MC....many who get 2400/64 sets end up running at 2133
