Ok guys, here are my worries. I got delidded i7 3770 and asus p8z77-v lx motherboard with hyper 212 Evo cooler on it. Since I delidded it core temperatures still hit 87C when doing Prime95. I got along with fact that these are normal temperatures for 3770 but still one thing caught my attention. I check out my voltage in CPU-Z and it jumps up to 1.360 while frequency is at 4326 Mhz. I figured out that it's abnormal and most probably causes my high temperatures. I tried to change voltage in BIOS but it's not changing. If I set it to manual and make it 1.145 for example, I just get BSOD. Only if I make voltage Offset my PC starts normally, but voltage keeps jumping to 1.360. Could anyone explain how to set it to fixed lower voltage? I know 85-87C are OK for Ivy Bridge, but still I hope to get them a bit lower, considering that everything is delidded with fresh Arctic Silver 5 applied and 3 fans pushing and pulling aird through the cooler.

well first you have air cooler so it will be a little higher than water. but the computer is automatically gonna over volt the CPU just in cause. but the high voltage 1.36 is gonna raise the temps quit a bit, ivy bridge temp increases dramatically with increase voltage. 1.275v will be able to reach 4.5GHz with no problem for most. if you dont give enough voltage your system is gonna BDOS, just increase voltage as needed to a stable setting. Also good to know you should set your PLL voltage to 1.6v, it will help with temps, between 1.5-1.8v is a happy place for ivy.
if you have time itll be save to run you system at auto figure out what its running at, then manually decrease your Vcore one notch at at time until unstable then raise it back up and test test test.
hope this helps, tell me how it goes.

If OP takes a look at the link I posted, they can read through a comprehensive reading of what you send, except explained by someone who really knows what they're doing. :)

Haha, no worries. Sorry, I realized that that post sounded a bit rude :p My bad; I wasn't trying to be rude, just trying to give a bit of help. Sorry for any misunderstanding :p
