Hey guys,

I'm putting together a new build and I have a question. The front of my case is going to have 6 120mm fans and all of the ports on my motherboard are already used up from other case fans.

I'd like to get a 6 port fan controller so that I can easily power all of the fans. I also would like this fan controller to notify me on the failure of any of those 6 fans. Is there a fan controller out there that does that?

I actually don't care too much about controlling the speed of my fans. I'm fine using fixed voltage, non PWM, fans in my case. But I would like the controller to notify if any of those 6 fans failed so I know to replace them. Those fans will be cooling some pretty hot hard drives, so being notified about the failure may help extend the life of those drives.

I have up to 2 5.25" bays n the front of my case to fit this controller. But honestly... I'd be fine if there was even a simple wiring method that kept this all in the case and hidden.

Does anyone know of a product that will do this and can offer a recommendation?

This is about the best one I found in some searching. It shows you live RPM data so if one goes off you will be able to check. It also has temp sensors and alarms, but not sure about alarms for fan stoppage.
