I just bought a Kingston 4GB RAM (KVR13N9S8/4) with the specs of:
PC3-10600
CL9
240-PIN
1.5V
1333Mhz

And when I try to add more memory with the default 2GB RAM (which is a Samsung) booting the computer is causing alot of problems. As far as I know, the Pavilion p6355d is compatible for the RAM, so I went to BIOS for a quick check and BIOS reads the new RAM. But still, it keeps the computer rebooting.
NOTE: I haven't touched anything in the BIOS yet.
Now, I tried REPLACING the RAM (instead of adding more RAM), and I still get the same effect. I didn't switch it to the other 3 slots since, I was getting worried my motherboard my fry up.

I'm going nuts over here. And I need some advice.

Alternatively, I am planning to test the RAM (and replace it with a new one) by going back to the store. Though this may be a good idea.

I did try not placing 2 RAMs, like I said. But I it didn't work. "Windows is starting..." then, here comes the reboot, glitchy-like on the monitor and then I'm now at this Window Repair program. I instantly turned off the computer and set the default RAM back in place and placed the new RAM back in it's case.

I will try this though later I'll be reformatting because one of my friends told me when installing new RAM, I have to reformat it so that it would become compatible.
NOTE: The computer makes no beeps. It works perfectly fine, except the part where it doesn't boot up to the menu, only up to the point where it says WINDOWS IS STARTING, then poof! reboot again.

Okay, just installed the BIOS and then now my boot-up is now the problem. I'm freaking out already. It won't boot, keeps on rebooting. How do I uninstall the new BIOS and return back to old BIOS?
