I have an i5 3570k. Can't get over a 38 ratio, the options just aren't there. From what I've read, I set My OC Genie in the BIOS to Customize. Then go to My OC Genie Option and set stuff in there. That's the problem, when I go in there it's blank, nothing shows up whatsoever. Have latest BIOS and have even gone one rev back and still the same problem. It's driving me nuts, tried everything I could think of. Someone please help.

If I were you, I wouldn't use OC Genie at all. I'd do it all by hand. Unless I'm misinterpreting OC Genie's capabilities and what it does, isn't that software that "automatically" overclocks your parts in increments? Like +10%, 20%, etc. on the NB/CPU. If I'm right about that, don't use that junk. Go into bios, and manually clock the parts from there.

I'd like not to use it either. I guess my next question is how do I overclock? The max ratio I can choose is 38...

"How do I overclock" is a majorly loaded question. Seeing as I'm an AMD guy, you'll have to look elsewhere for an answer to that. I would tell you just to hike up the multiplier a few notches, but I'm not positive Intel uses multipliers.

What I can tell you is not to mess with the NB ratio. Stick to OCing the CPU, not the NB.
