I have a LG 47LG70YD connected to my htpc that has the following configuration:
Motherboard GigaByte GA-H77N-WIFI + Core i3 3220 + 2x 4gb kingston 1600.
When connecting the htpc in tv using hdmi cable, I can only select the 1360x768 60hz resolution , if I try to set 1920x1080 60hz the TV screen flashes and windows reports that the best resolution is 1360x768.
I tested the htpc in my other tv (LG 32LH35FD) and it worked perfectly at 1920x1080
Any tip please?

The image blinks without stopping and a prompt appears stating: "This resolution is not ideal. The optimal resolution is 1360x768. 60hz"
If I try to keep in 1920x1080 60hz the image does not stop flashing

I tried all refresh rates available in the video settings, but I could not make it work in 1920x1024. Maybe I have to create a custom driver. I have a screenshot of the tv manual, but I don't know how to use all this data on the video settings:

Windows detected as pnp generic monitor. I created a custom driver using powerstrip (using hardware detection) and now windows is detecting as TV LG, but I can't use the full hd resolution yet. Using Linux I can set it to full hd, but not using windows. Even on Linux, the resolution 1360x768 came as default, but I could switch to 1920x1024 without problems.
Any tip to construct a custom driver for windows with this parameters: http://i1032.photobucket.com/albums/a401/birutawow/lgsc...
Intel drivers ( in custom resolutions) have more options, but I don't know what are them. Here a SS with intel options:

What are Front Porch (vertical and horizontal), Back Porch (vertical and horizontal), Sync width (vertical and horizontal), Active (vertical and horizontal), Sync Polarity (vertical and horizontal) and Scan Rate (vertical and horizontal)??
Perhaps understanding how to configure these drivers I can set the correct the tv resolution on windows.

Don't...

Please, this is not a BUMP.
I got some progress here:
Using the TV's menu, I renamed the hdmi input to "PC" and now I can to set the resolution to 1080i, BUT unfortunately if I try to use 60p hz the screen flashes incessantly.
Besides this problem the colors are very "washed" and ugly. The message "wrong resolution" continues beside the windows calendar.
Keep trying a permanent solution. Having success I'll notice here to help others who have the same problem..

edited: 1920x1080/30p hz gives more stability than 1080i, where the windows menus are shaking slightly
