It will work but you may have problems at getting the RAM to work at full speed FYI. since the chipset is 785g you might have conflict in how the RAM will clock, you might have to mess with it a little bit. Also, you might want to unlock the BIOS, one thing is that these Dell motherboards have a locked BIOS where you can't touch anything. If even possible you might be able to get a homebrew BIOS for Dell motherboards or something.

Also, you might want to look into buying a M-ATX board for like ~$50 or so if the board doesn't work. The nice thing is that the M-ATX board will fit inside the Dell Case no problem.

Best AND processor for gaming i would suggest is the FX-4350 series. $10 difference from the FX-4300 w/ better clock, cache, and if you buy from Newegg you get free shipping for the moment. Gaming industry is starting to tap into Quad Core and most likely won't go Octo-Core for another few more years.

Here are 2 links for my suggestions:
FX-4350 Newegg Link
ASUS M5A78L Newegg Link

Hope that helps. That ASUS will support any AMD CPU and it will fit inside the Dell Case. I believe that the FX-4350 comes with a standard Fan which will work no problem, as long as you're not overclocking. I know that the motherboard has an inferior chipset, but these motherboards have been modified to work with AM3+.

Well like i said, it might not work properly, it's possible that it'll work fine, but there's a good chance that you'll have to buy another motherboard.
