no offense but this is an older LGA 775 board, why are you updating BIOS is it giving you issues now?
are you upgrading processors and need the BIOS update?
please elaborate.
to somewhat answer your question, the list of BIOS fixes / enhancements is usually listed in the product description where you find the download. and the easy way to update a BIOS is using a USB stick with the BIOS file (ROM) on it.
with the stick connected then boot into the BIOS and select update option.
