hd 7970 or hd 7950

i dont know wich one to choose.
my budget is small and the hd 7950 is cheaper. i love gaming but i dont have much time to game.
so is it worth it to buy a hd 7970 for not alot of gaming. will the 7950 serve me well and by the time i will upgrade those cards so wich one?? please help and sorry for my grammar

I would get a 7870 or a gtx 660, you said you dont game to much, but these cards will save you money, and both come with 2gb for nice 1080p gaming.

For a GTX 660:

HD 7870:

I would personally spend the extra $15 on the 7870, its about 5% stronger than the 660, and it overclocks better.

Use this for benchmarks:

As you can see the 7870 at stock clocks, beats a slightly overclocked 660. Also the HIS IceQ seems like one hell of a cooler.

The 7950 is better for the money, as in more fps per dollar. Also, I have one, and it's got just enough umph to play games like Crysis 3 on ultra with 4xMSAA (you may need to overclock a little). Go for the 7950 over the 7970.
