GeForce FX 5500 Power Supply Question

PC specs:
Pentium 4 3.0 GHz
2 gb ram
cheap soundcard
and a new GeForce FX 5500

Will a 300 watt power supply suffice for this build? Thanks

Yes, if that psu actually supports at least 250w load.

Because I had a system close to yours, but with a fx5600 ultra instead, and my crappy 300w psu handled it just fine.
