I have recently taken note that my computer has been making fairly odd noises. Every once in a while, my computer will let out one short BEEP. The beeps don't seem to have any rhyme or reason and I have noticed no problems with my system in conjunction with these noises as of yet.
The only real correlation between the noises and events have been on occasion when I unplug my headphones from the computer, it will beep. However, this is on occasion and has only happened a few times.
The beep doesn't happen right when I turn on my computer either. Just seemingly at random (or when I unplug my headphones every so often). Sometimes, it can go days without hearing this BEEP, weeks even. But it had just happened again recently, which brought me to ask this community.
Any ideas?
