i7 4770k 4.6ghz + overclocks

Hey fellas,

Wanted to know the experience of other people overclocking that CPU.

I got mine 4.7GHz with 1.25v and am looking at 66 average temps with 80-81 highs.

Should I push that baby pas that point, or keep it as is?

that's more than pretty good considering the reports of Haswell.
I'd say you have close to a 'golden' Haswell chip if not then a really good one.

it is like winning the lottery after-all..

using a z87 sabertooth...I must say some highs have touched 83 degrees.

Ill think I ll leave it at that, seems stable and I'm fairly clueless with overclocking besides watching guides on youtube.

haha yeah, reading a bit more into it made me realise I might've just got some luck.

Eh, I'll take it and not ''push'' that luck even more

I would no doubt.
your chip as it sits right now is above the (general consensus) in terms performance.
better overclock and better temps then the average is going out there.

congrats.

I must of also caught a great processor because although im using a h100i with it my temps idle at 4.8ghz is 34c and 60c at full load. I can probably push it further but haven't really tweaked settings yet.
