Hello guys!
I'm looking for a monitor that will provide me with a great 3D gaming experience. I don't know much about monitors at all so I'm a bit lost. I plan on playing FPS and MMORPGs games in 3D along with watching some 3D movies. I've taken a look at monitors such as the ASUS VG248QE and the BenQ XL2420T. They both have their ups and downs but when it comes down to it I dont really know whats better.

I'm hoping you guys can point me towards some great 3D gaming monitors. The price doesn't matter much but it would be ideal to keep it under 800 dollars.

CPU: i7 3770K
GPU: GTX 770 (sli)

Personally I settled on a Acer GD235Hz, but the BenQ is real good too. Make sure you get the 3D kit with it, so you get the glasses and such with it, else you will have to pay extra and seperately. If memory serves me, it will all run off the DVI-D cable, which will run out of a single port on your card, as it has enough bandwidth for 3d. Your only problems you will run into is specifically each game and their special settings. You may need special patches in order to play a game successfully in 3D. Personally I don't see a need to play in 3D like that and quite happy just playing at 100-120Hz in a game as is.

Can i ask how much you paid for your Acer and would you recommend it over the ben-q that you mentioned?

Was only couple hundred, but I would recommend (as I mentioned) the Ben-Q over it if I had a choice as so many have highly rated it.
